BEARD COMPETETION

The categories of the Motorcycle & Powersport Atlantic Beard Competition will follow the following categories as decided by Show Management. All competitors are eligible to enter the Best Unique Facial Hair and Fans’ Choice Category. 

Note: Competitors must select a category when registering. If a contestant does not fit the chosen category, they will be reassigned. Contestants may enter multiple categories but can only win first place in one category. 

2025 Competition Categories:

1. Best Beard (Viking, Short, Long, Unique—your choice!) Eligibility includes: Any style or length of beard that has a moustache integrated.
2. Best Partial Facial Hair (Mustache, Goatee, Soul Patch, etc.) Eligibility includes: Any version of facial hair that is not a complete beard and could include Mustache, Goatee, Mutton Chops, Soul Patch, Handlebars, etc.
3. Best Unique Facial Hair (Surprise us!) Eligibility includes: Any style or length of facial hair – is your facial hair WOWZA and a stand-out for it’s uniqueness? Competitors from the Beard and Partial Facial Hair categories are also eligible for this category.
4. Fans' Choice (Voted on the Show’s Facebook & Instagram pages—winner announced later) Eligibility includes: Are you willing to leave your win up to the decision of the public? This is the category for you. On competition day we’ll snap a pic of your hair and let our Facebook and Instagram followers decide who wins – are you brave enough? Winner for this category will be announced online later.

Competition Rules:

• The Motorcycle & Powersport Atlantic Show and Beard Competition are open to all attendees, regardless of nationality, gender, race, religion, or club affiliation.
• No entry fee is required for the competition, although participants must pay entry to the Motorcycle & Powersport Atlantic Show or be exhibitors at the show.
• Be present when called – Contestants must be available for judging when called; failure to appear will result in elimination.
• No artificial facial hair – All facial hair must be natural; wigs, extensions, or fake beards are not allowed.
• Styling products permitted, but no structural materials – Contestants can use styling aids (e.g., mustache wax, hairspray, gel, or foam) but cannot use additional structural materials like wire, rope, or lumber.
• Creative freedom – Contestants may style their facial hair however they like; there are no restrictions on length, symmetry, asymmetry, texture, or color.
• Respectful conduct required – Unprofessional, discourteous, or abusive behavior may result in disqualification at the organizers' discretion.
• Consent for media use – By registering, contestants agree to be photographed, filmed, and recorded for promotional purposes, with no compensation.
• Rules may be updated – Organizers reserve the right to modify rules before the competition.
• Judges' decisions are final – All results are binding and cannot be challenged.
